Shereka is excited to join the staff of NAMI NC as the Director of Programs and Affiliate Support. Her previous professional roles include Family Therapist for the Parenting of Adolescents program at Exchange Family Center, Violence Prevention Coordinator at UNC Chapel Hill, and Rape Prevention and Education Coordinator at Durham Crisis Response Center. Shereka holds a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Science in human resources from Western Carolina University, and a Master of Social Work from Boston University.
