NAMI NC is proud to welcome our new Executive Director, Holly Provance Doggett, MS!
Holly comes to us from Texas, where she served as the director of patient experience and the director of business development for Cedar Crest Hospital & Residential Treatment Center in Texas. Her love for NAMI started in 2015 when she was hired as the executive director of NAMI Texas. She is a peer and a family member.
Holly is a certified NAMI Homefront instructor, a certified NAMI Connection Recovery Support facilitator, a NAMI Family Support group facilitator, and a NAMI Family and Friends instructor. Holly is also a facilitator for the Veteran Spouse Resiliency Groups (V-SRG) which provide a safe space for veteran spouses and partners of veterans to come together, listen, share their stories, and lean on one another for support and guidance.
Holly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. She lives with her partner, Derrick, and an assortment of rescue dogs and cats. She is a sometimes playwright whose works have been produced in Austin and New York City.
