Did you know that NAMI offers support groups for family members and loved ones?

NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. It is a free, 60-90 minute session designed to help participants gain supportive relationships, share resources and helpful tools, and have a safe space to have your personal needs met. Our Family Support Groups follow a structured model, allowing space for everyone to be heard and find what they need.

Participants not only learn valuable coping skills and find strength in shared experiences, but they learn that they are not alone. Past participants have shared that they “received constructive, practical and helpful information” and that they found their Family Support Group “at the time I really needed it.”
