It has come to our attention that a significant portion of the membership have not received a ballot for the NAMI NC Board of Directors election or the proposed bylaws revisions. Because we want to make sure every member has the opportunity to vote, the Board’s Executive Committee has decided to postpone the annual meeting previously scheduled to take place during lunch at the annual conference until Saturday, November 6. Otherwise, the Annual Conference will go on as planned.

Over the next week or so, we will make a best faith effort to make sure that all current members have access to a ballot. In addition, we will send members the Bylaw Committee rationale for the proposed Bylaw changes.

Additionally, the NAMI-NC Council of Affiliate Presidents has set up a Zoom call for October 13 at 7pm Meet the Board Candidates and review the proposed bylaw revisions.
