Join us on Thursdays with NAMI for a conversation with Raleigh resident Alyssa Vine-Hodge. She is the author of The Sense About Madness: A Raw Look at Child Abuse, Sexual Violence, and Mental Illness, which one critic described as ‘an incredibly brave, thoughtful and intensely personal story of a survivor.’ Alyssa is a member of the Speakers Bureau for RAINN, the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network. Through collaborating with other artists and advocates, Alyssa enjoys sharing that not only is healing possible, but happiness too.

Thursdays with NAMI starts at 7pm and is free and open to all, but registration is required. To register and view the schedule for future sessions, please click HERE.
