NAMI Wilmington and others partnered to host a Town Hall meeting on January 30th with NC Department of Health and Human Services leadership (Kody Kinsley, Deputy Secretary for Behavioral Health & Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at DHHS, pictured above addressing the group.)

The meeting was held to provide consumers, families and advocates with a means to provide input on how NC’s public Behavioral Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) System is working and how DHHS can help in creating a system that improves health outcomes and promotes recovery for all North Carolinians.

Another Town Hall is scheduled in Winston-Salem for February 20th.
