It has come to our attention that a significant portion of the membership have not received a ballot for the NAMI NC Board of Directors election or the proposed bylaws revisions. Because we want to make sure every member has the opportunity to vote, the Board’s Executive Committee has decided to postpone the annual meeting previously scheduled to take place during lunch at the annual conference until Saturday, November 6. Otherwise, the Annual Conference will go on as planned.
In the next two weeks, we will make a best faith effort to make sure that all current members have access to a ballot. In addition, we will send members the Bylaw Committee rationale for the proposed Bylaw changes.
Members will receive a separate communication with this information and new voting deadline.
