This class will be begin Thursday, March 19th, 5:30 to 7:30 in Chapel Hill over the course of 8 weeks.** Using lecture, discussion, and interactive exercises participants will gain knowledge, insight, and strategies for living with their illness. FREE CLASS FOR FAMILIES OF VETERANS/MILITARY IN STATESVILLE-

NAMI Homefront is a free, 6-session program for family, friends and significant others of military Service Members and Veterans. The class helps families understand what the Service Member/ Veteran is experiencing related to trauma, combat stress, civilian life transition, PTSD and other mental health conditions. FREE CLASS FOR CAREGIVERS/PARENTS OF CHILDREN/TEENS to be held in Orange County!

NAMI Basics is free 6-session program designed for parents or caregivers of children and teens experiencing symptoms of mental illness or challenging emotional or behavioral difficulties. Learn about diagnosis, treatment, medications, effect on family, coping, stress, and more.

FREE FAMILY-TO-FAMILY CLASSES BEING HELD IN WILMINGTON

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. It is a designated evidenced-based program. Research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to an individual living with a mental health condition. Pre-registration is required.
