NAMI Basics is free 6-session program designed for parents or caregivers of children and teens experiencing symptoms of mental illness or challenging emotional or behavioral difficulties. Learn about diagnosis, treatment, medications, effect on family, coping, stress, and more.
DURHAM: NAMI Durham, will offer its NAMI Basics Education Program for this spring from 2-25-20 thru 3-31-20. It will be held on Tuesdays, 7pm – 9:30pm. Contact 919-231-5016 or namibasics@namidurhamnc.org
WAKE FOREST: The Wake Forest class will begin on March 7th and the classes will be held from 9a-11:30a. The class is offerd by NAMI Wake County. Register here or email education@nami-wake.org for questions.

FREE FAMILY-TO-FAMILY CLASSES BEING HELD IN DURHAM
NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8 session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. It is a designated evidenced-based program. Research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to an individual living with a mental health condition.
