7 p.m. June 17, 2021

Michael Fenning is a recovering addict with dual diagnoses of anxiety and military sexual trauma (post-traumatic stress disorder). He was previously homeless and is a justice-involved individual. Since beginning his recovery in 2010, he has earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from North Carolina Central University. He recently completed an internship with NAMI Durham, where he used his experience and education to help others disentangle themselves from the justice system. A Philadelphia native, he has lived in Durham for the last five years. Join us to hear his story.
