NAMI and its affiliates are working rapidly to adapt to the needs of our mental health community during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.NAMI understands that the presence of this virus in our community can cause a strain to the healthiest of individuals, not to mention those who live with a mental or physical illness or those that have financial hardships. We want to be a resource for you throughout this crisis and always.

To that goal, NAMI NC has put some precautions in place to make sure our team remains healthy and able to serve, including setting up virtual meetings and enabling our staff to work from home if needed.

We have seen a large increase in the number of calls to our Helpline and this may mean a slight delay in our ability to answer your calls immediately, but someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that in addition to our 800.451.9682 number, we offer text services by texting 919.999.6527 during normal business hours (M-F 8:30a-5p). Should you need help outside of business hours, please text NAMI to 741-741 which has a crisis counselor available 24/7.
