The life of a college athlete is a life of stress. Between worrying about on-field performance, maintaining adequate grades, and managing expectations coming from multiple sources, many athletes experience a toll taken on their mental health.

To help deal with this stress, universities provide much-needed counselors, academic supports, and mental health awareness events.

But the forward-thinking trainers at UNC Chapel Hill have gone a step further. They have provided a support dog. Meet Remington, a golden retriever who has provided Tar Heel athletes unconditional love, support, and comfort.
