Jessica Jones’ life was challenging before she went to Nursing School. That’s why she signed up to tell her story as part of the NAMI In Our Own Voice presentation program. As a nursing student she bravely chose to work on the front lines of the pandemic at UNC Hospital even as her son caught and recovered from COVID-19 this year. To top it off, a con man posing as a landlord bilked her for $2,300 as she was trying to line up housing this spring. How did she manage the anxiety of all that? Tune in to learn about the tools in her toolkit.

Thursdays with NAMI starts at 7pm and is free and open to all, but registration is required. To register and view the schedule for future sessions, please click HERE.
