This will be a candid discussion of where NAMI North Carolina has been, what we’ve overcome, and where we are headed. Don’t miss this conversation with two beloved leaders, Garry Crites and Diane Krisanda.

Diane lives in Rutherford County and is President of NAMI South Mountains, NC. She is a veteran and retired Certified Activity Director from the psychiatric unit of Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital in Pennsylvania. Diane received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2020 NAMI NC Annual Conference.

Before taking the helm at NAMI NC as Executive Director in 2019, Garry spent 20-plus years at Duke University. Starting as a PhD student in Religion and History, he later held the positions of Program Director at Duke Continuing Education Studies and Director of Operations at Duke’s Talent Identification Program.
