With Veteran’s Day coming up, one mother is doing everything she can to support the mental health of those who serve, and she is asking for the community’s help.
Yvette Davis says her son, Demitri Martin, suffered from PTSD and lost his battle to suicide in 2018. She is holding a donations drive at her new veteran’s thrift shop on Saturday, and proceeds will go to a fund that helps service members and veterans battling PTSD.
