During a recent summit for high school students from Orange County, NAMI Ending the Silence presenters, Katarina Pattee and Jeremy Fine courageously shared honest and moving messages from their personal experience. Their talks helped students not only learn about the warning signs of mental health issues, but also what steps to take if you, a friend, or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition. These key presentations took place as part of a powerful forum on advocacy and awareness of mental health issues held on October 15.

Event organizers lauded NAMI Orange County and along with affiliate president Barb Maier for their role in this event as well as their 365-day presence in the community.
