Last week, students at Fayetteville State University successfully established a NAMI on Campus chapter with the help of NAMI NC and local affiliates. The chapter on Fayetteville State’s campus marks the first NAMI on Campus at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). NAMI on Campus is a student-led, student-run campus organization focused on raising mental health awareness, advocating for improved mental health services and policies on campus, and supporting peers with NAMI signature programs.
