NAMI North Carolina was well-represented in the week-long focus on mental health by Charlotte’s National Public Radio station. Each afternoon from July 11-15, the WFAE-Live Podcast had an hour-long session of a series entitled “Mental Health Conversations.”
On Monday, NAMI NC Board member Fonda Bryant was a panelist for a session called “Ending the Stigma Around Mental Health.” On Tuesday, Executive Director Garry Crites was on a panel exploring the topic “Accessing Affordable Mental Health Care.”
