After her own near suicide 28 years ago, Fonda Bryant knows the meaning of a supportive voice in a moment of crisis. She is working with N.C. Rep. Carla Cunningham on a bill that would set aside funds for installing suicide prevention signs in parking decks. The bill, called the Fonda Bryant Suicide Prevention Signage Act, is currently before the North Carolina House of Representatives for consideration.
