What a great way to conclude this year’s Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW). This Saturday, the 2021 NAMI NC Annual Conference will be held virtually and it’s open to anyone that has an interest in mental health. The theme of the 2021 NAMI NC Annual Conference is “Growth and Grace.” NAMI CEO Dan Gillison will kick off the event and other presenters will offer sessions related to enriching mental health in anxious times, balancing mental health with social justice, and a variety of other important—and sometimes controversial–issues that we face. And during this time, we will learn to show others—and ourselves—the grace we need and deserve in our growth toward recovery. The conference’s unique platform will also provide attendees with the capability to virtually network with other mental health advocates.

We hope you will join us in this exciting virtual conference on October 9th!
