This week on Thursdays with NAMI an outspoken advocate, Pooja Mehta, will be featured in this Q&A, interview style video conference session. Pooja’s story and mental health efforts have compelled audiences across the country. She has the insight that comes with having mental health challenges, as well as the family perspective. A North Carolina native, Pooja got her degree in biology from Duke, and is currently working toward a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University. Her advocacy work has been featured in a variety of podcasts and articles, including in Saathee Magazine, the Mighty, and NAMI’s own Advocate magazine. She is a board member for NAMI New York State.
