Raising mental health awareness can help folks understand symptoms, find professional treatment, and, perhaps even more importantly, break the mental health stigma that can hamper recovery and a better lifestyle.

As part of their January 25th game against the Vegas Golden Knights, the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes are hosting ‘Hockey Talks Night’ to encourage conversations about mental health and reduce the stigmas associated with mental illness.

Before and during the game, NAMI NC and other mental health organizations will be on hand to support the effort and provide mental health information to fans.

The game is scheduled for 7pm on Tuesday, January 25th. Click here to purchase tickets.
