A big shout out to the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes for their promotion of the importance of mental health at last Tuesday’s game against the Vegas Golden Nights. NAMI NC’s Lindsey Taylor and Peg Morrison (pictured above left) were honored to be the featured “Olympia Riders” during the first intermission in play. NAMI NC and other mental health organizations provided attendees with information on mental health programs with exhibit throughout the concourse.
Thanks to the Hurricanes for a great game and focus on Mental Health awareness.
