Thursdays with NAMI – July 22, 2021-7 p.m.
Hannah Carroll has lots of mental health credentials. She is a state trainer for the NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group program, a certified Peer Support Specialist, and a Mental Health First Aid instructor. Since joining NAMI Cumberland, Harnett, and Lee Counties in 1999 she has served as secretary, membership coordinator, and Affiliate Delegate to the National Convention… just to name a few. Today she is the president of her NAMI affiliate. Thanks to her leadership NAMI Cumberland, Harnett, Lee Counties has won two statewide awards, “Most Improved Affiliate” in 2011 and “Best Affiliate” in 2012. Hannah has a bachelor’s degree in business from Fayetteville State University… So what brought her to NAMI to begin with? Join us to hear the full story. This event is free and open to the public.
