CURED! Documentary Screening: Virtual and in-person event at the newly renovated Dix Chapel
Whether you choose to participate from the comfort of your home or come down to Dix Park in Raleigh, please join us for a screening of CURED! This film is a documentary of the pivotal, yet largely unknown campaign that led the American Psychiatric Association (APA) to remove homosexuality from its manual of mental illnesses in 1973. Would you like to attend in person? The in-person showing will take place on Thursday, June 24th at 6pm. Only 100 tickets are available for the event, so don’t delay! Tickets are free of charge, but optional donations may be given at the door.

After the screening, at 7pm on June 24th, CURED! co-directors Patrick Sammon and Bennett Singer will say a few words by video. A panel discussion will follow featuring North Carolina perspectives and live Question and Answer.
