NAMI has a new webpage that talks about the importance of voting in this year’s election! It’s www.vote4mentalhealth.org

Make sure you know who, and what you have the opportunity to cast your vote for in all the races — national, state, and local. Your sample ballot can be found here so you can prepare and educate yourself on your options. To help you assess candidates and their platforms, here is a link to a blog on some of the mental health considerations related to three of the major political issues in this election: health care, the economy and education.

Ready to cast your vote? In-person Early Voting began last week and runs through October 31st. Learn how and where to vote early here.

Rather vote by mail? An absentee ballot must be requested by TODAY, October 27th. For more information about voting by mail click here.

Prefer to vote on Election Day, November 3rd? You can find where your polling place is located here.

When or how you vote is your decision, but please take the time to inform yourself and exercise your right to vote!

With Early In-person Voting – You can still register to vote!

What you haven’t registered to vote yet? You can still vote in this election by going to In-person Early Voting where would-be voters may same-day register and vote!
