North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper outlined a plan last Thursday to allocate federal COVID-19 relief funds and invest state resources to help communities hurting because of the pandemic. This included investing Federal funds for Community Mental Health Services and $30 Million from the state’s General Fund for an extension of high-speed internet to all corners of the state and other urgent connectivity initiatives which may lead to more telehealth availability.
