Thursdays with NAMI – September 2, 2021 7pm

Going to work can be stressful even in the best of times; in the midst of a pandemic it enters a whole new realm. Like a relative overstaying their welcome, COVID-19 continues to linger, putting many employees in a state of flux and fear. What can supervisors and team leaders do to push back and create psychological safety at work? What can employees do to care for themselves and support colleagues who are struggling? NAMI NC Executive Director Garry Crites, PhD, will lead the discussion with two professionals who are tops in their fields. Joy Brunson-Nsubuga is the Vice President of SouthEast Operations for RI International, and she is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Addictions Specialist. Amy Robertson – who has held executive leadership roles at Red Hat and ChannelAdvisor – is CEO and Founder of Soul Advantage, where she provides tailored HR resources to growing companies.

Thursdays with NAMI starts at 7pm and is free and open to all. Join us via Facebook Live or click here to register to participate via Zoom and to view the schedule for future sessions
