Join in a free live program on August 26th at 12PM as NAMI Charlotte acts to highlight awareness to mental health challenges that impact Black youth. The event features:

Keynote Speaker – Dr. Larry A. Jones is a retired pediatrician, ADHD & Life Coach, Author and Presenter. He serves as that independent authority to assist and to guide individuals and families about education and career choices, when there are barriers to success based on ADHD or other causes.

Panelist – Dr. Christopher Edge specializes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His advocacy is dedicated to social justice or the lack thereof and the impact of systemic marginalization on the mental health of the underserved.

Panelist – Meoshia Burgess, an energetic teen with lots of ideas, inspires youth to embrace and express their uniqueness. Through her brands, Meo Cares & The Youth Messenger, she uses education and creativity to transform youth lives and better the community.

Also participating; James Rice III is a motivational speaker, dynamic host, and LGBTQ Youth activist. He currently serves his community as Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator for Time Out Youth as well as the Minster for Member & Guest Experience.
