Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) NAMI panelists are needed at the following times:
January 14 and January 16, 2020 from 9:15 – 10:15 am at 230 Government Center Lane in Wilmington, NC.
Law enforcement and first responders take the course in order to understand mental illness and substance use disorder and how these illnesses can lead to a crisis. The NAMI CIT panel allows peers, family members and loved ones the chance to tell their story.
If you’ve been a CIT panelists before, you realize the importance of telling your story to the people who often respond first to a crisis situation.
