Studies have shown that many people living with mental illness need support to feel included in the community. Lack of inclusion contributes to feelings of isolation and hampers recovery. Community Inclusion (CI) efforts can be very important to address this.

As part of our series about CI, on January 29th, Dr. Mark Salzer, Principle Investigator and Director of Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion of Individuals with Psychiatric Disabilities, and Mikayla Cardona, Affiliate and Outreach Specialist of NAMI North Carolina, will lead participants through an informal conversation about ways and methods to enhance Community Inclusion efforts.
