We recently announced that CIT International, in cooperation with NAMI North Carolina, NAMI Guilford County, and the NC Division of Health and Human Services, would be coming to North Carolina to offer
CIT Train-the-Trainer Course
Date: Sept. 26th-29th
Location: Guilford County (Venue TBD)
Designed for CIT Coordinators, Host Officers, and steering committee members who actively participate in the facilitation of their local CIT 40-hour week-long training for law enforcement and first responders. CIT TTT is a 4-day-long training with master instructors who will provide participants with the complete curriculum including course materials, presentations, instructor’s guide, and everything needed to design and conduct the course in their communities.
Prerequisite: CIT Coordinator Certification
Certification is available through a 2-day 4-hour per day block of virtual instruction, (July 11th-12th 11:00-3:00 EDT, September 12th-13th 11:00-3:00 EDT). Certification can also be achieved through a one-day class from 8:00-5:00 on August 28th at the CIT International Conference.
